Kubernetes HPA and VPA
- To use HPA (Horizontal Pod Autoscaler) or VPA (Vertical Pod Autoscaler) we need metrics server to be enabled
- Basic Algorithm is used for scaling which scales up immedietly and scales down after 5 minutes.

Volumes or Persistence in k8s

Kubernetes supports two types of Volumes
- Ephemeral Volumesc: They are available as long as Pod is alive
- Persistent Volumes: These are volumes which have lifetime independent of Pod
