Monitoring a N-tier Web Application on Azure Contd

• We have used CPU Percentage to raise alerts to the team
• Memory Percentage:
  • To enable Memory Usage detail metrics, you will have to enable VM Insights
  • Once you enable vm insights and wait for atleast 10 minutes
• Lets enable Diagnostic settings
  • Once you enable Diagnositic settings, We can create graphs which represent,
    • free memory
    • free diskspace
    • disk transfer rates etc

Virtual Network Monitoring

• For monitoring NSG flow, Azure Network Watcher should be enable for the region.
