Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

• Azure Site recovery is a service in Azure which helps in setting up Disaster Recovery
  • From Azure VM in a Region to Other Region
  • From On-premise VM to Azure Region
  • From AWS instance to Azure VM
• Now lets try to enable replication for a azure vm in east us region to the central us region
• Create a vm in east us region
• Now create Recovery Services Vault
• Now lets setup site recovery
• Once the replication is setup in site recovery lets navigate to protected items
• Once the replication is setup in site recovery we have following options
  • Run a test failover
  • Run a failover and Reprotect
  • Run failback
