• By default when we install active directory, DomainController is the only OrganizationalUnit (OU) visible to admins, Rest all of the folders are containers

• Group Policies can be applied to OUs but not containers.

• Create 4 groups

  • Sales
  • HelpDesk
  • IT Admins
  • ResearchAndDevelopment

• Group Policies can be applied at 4 levels

  • Local
  • Domain
  • Site
  • OU
