Migration enviroment preparation

  • mysql database:
    • This will be source for migration into aws databases
  • microsoft sql server on aws
    • This will be source for migration into azure database
• Servers
  • Ubuntu Linux on HyperV
    • This will be source for migration into aws and azure

Azure Migrations

• Azure Migrate Project
• We have created a database migration project
• performed the migration using DMA

AWS Migrations

• We have used Database Migration Service to create
  • replication instance
  • endpoints
  • migration task for one time migration
• Executed the migration task to view the changes
