Activity Create a Ubuntu 20.04 or Redhat 8 or Centos 7.9 VM and try creating a Data collection rule and establish connection
- Create a Linux VM
- Connect Linux VM to Log Analytics Workspace and Create a Data collection.
- Now naviagate to the Virtual Machine => Logs and observe the Tables available
- To Gain more visibility Select the insights from the VM and Enable it
- Enabling insights adds table to the analytics workspace
- Activity: Click on the Metrics Section of the virtual machine and try to view the Percentage CPU Metric
- Note: We would be continuing the usage of vm’s so once you are done with your activity shutdown the vm.
