- This discount is offered when we can give a commitmnt to use a Azure VM for one year or three years
- We can pay the amount upfront or monthly (The total cost of up-front and monthly reservation is same)
- Azure Reservation is valid for Azure VM’s as well
- Virtual Machine Size flexibility with Reserved VM Instances:
- When we buy a Reserved VM Instance, We can choose to optimize for size flexibility or capacity

- Azure allows us to Create Azure Spot Virtual machines to take advantage of unused capacity.
