Azure SQL DB Monitoring
- Create an Azure SQL DB
- The basic metrics of SQL DB are available
- In addition to the Basic Metrics, we can configure SQL Performance to be sent to Log analytics workspace
Using Azure Automation Runbooks to perform actions
- Create an Action Group and in the action group we can specify the action of Azure Automation Run Book, where we can perform actions such as
- start VM
- stop VM
- Terminate VM
- Workbooks can be used to show the necessary information from predefined templates’
