- AMI is an packaging format ec2 instances which contian OS, necessary softwares
- AMIs are of two types in terms of pricing
- Community AMIs
- Marketplace AMIs:
- You will have paid AMI’s as well
- BYOL (Bring your own license)
- License cost inclued per hour
- You will have paid AMI’s as well
