• K8s Pods will have following states
  • Pending
  • Running
  • Succeded
  • Failed
  • Unknown

Container States in k8s pod

• Waiting
• Running
• Terminated

Container restart policy

• Lets try to create a short lived contianer with different restart policies

  • never
    
  • OnFailure
    • exit code => success
