Azure VNET to Onpremise Connectivity

  • Lets create an Azure VM in web subnet with icmp enabled in NSG and with both public and private ip
  • For lab purposes, since we dont have a On-Premises network with a vpn device, lets consider AWS vpc as our on-premise.
  • Create a Virtual Network Gateway in Azure VNet



  • To simulate on-premises i will be creating AWS VPC. Go through the recording of the class to understand the steps
  • Create a Local Network Gateway with your on-prem vpn ip

  • Navigate to Virtual network gateway and add connection
